PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project was established in the FY15 CIP to provide flexibility in the execution of needed renovations and repairs throughout the Parks and Recreation system. Funding will include repairs to restrooms, enhancement and updating of interior spaces, compliance with ADA regulations, conversion to green energy systems and larger cyclical maintenance projects such as refinishing of gym floors, recoating of pool tubs and replacement of roofs in recreational facilities and parks. Multiple critical maintenance and infrastructure improvements have been funded from the Lump Sum account and will continue to be so.
In FY 23, the funds in this project account are planned for necessary repairs to all indoor basketball courts, Carver office reconfiguration, building a sand volleyball court, resurface the Washington Park Pool and garden plots.

Adopt and maintain customized park and recreation facility standards that support a livable community and perform consistent maintenance on all parks and recreation facilities.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES / STATUS:
Objectives - This plan will create a process and initiatives towards al five goals in the strategic plan due to its comprehensive nature. This project was established in the FY15 CIP to provide flexibility in the execution of needed renovations and repairs throughout the Parks and Recreation system.
Status- Planning phase for indoor basketball courts, Carver office reconfiguration, resurface the Washington Park Pool and garden plots.

The use of these funds impact existing facilities and there are no anticipated increases in maintenance or operating costs.
