PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

City wide HVAC/Electrical infrastructure upgrades.

Goal 4. Energy and Water Efficiency

Increase the energy performance, water efficiency, and environmental sustainability of

housing throughout the city.

Chapter 9 : Community Facilities and Services

Goal 1. Efficient Planning for Facilities and Infrastructure

Prioritize efficient construction and maintenance of all community infrastructure and facilities, and ensure that infrastructure capacity is built and maintained in line with growth or declining demand, as appropriate.

Goal 2. City Schools

Improve and maintain public school facilities to continue providing an excellent education to students.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES / STATUS:

Objectives: To prevent unexpected loss of HVAC/Electrical infrastructure throughout the COC.

This is a yearly ongoing process to replace aging HVAC/Electrical infrastructure with modern energy saving equipment.

Status:

• MSPG Chiller project; just completed the engineering phase, working on IFB for construction. Police Generator; almost complete with the plans & specifications phase. Building Automation Upgrade is in progress.
• MSPG Chiller; provided the equipment can be delivered on time anticipate this to be an early Spring or next Fall. Generator delivery is one year out, anticipate work to take place next Fall/Winter. Building Automation is currently happening, anticipate completion of work this Fall. PWA Chill water pump is on site, anticipate work to happen over the winter months.
