PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Integrated organization-wide technology platforms are important technology investments that support the strategic direction and overall business needs of the City. This project establishes a separate funding stream for City wide strategic technology needs. The projects funded by the Citywide IT Strategic Infrastructure account would support enhancement needs, such as the expansion of resources and emerging technologies, and projects/systems that would improve efficiency and effectiveness of our services and employees.

Chapter 9 : Community Facilities and Services

Goal 1. Efficient Planning for Facilities and Infrastructure

Prioritize efficient construction and maintenance of all community infrastructure and facilities, and ensure that infrastructure capacity is built and maintained in line with growth or declining demand, as appropriate.

Improve and maintain public school facilities to continue providing an excellent education to students.

Goal 3. Government/Public Facilities

Improve and maintain City government facilities to continue to provide safe, accessible, modernized public facilities and places of employment.
