PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

These funds are used to construct sidewalks from the priority list. Most of the current funds currently available in thei account has accumulated over multiple years and is allocated for grant matches which will soon be awarded. The current annual funding amount of $100,000 is inadequate to implement sidewalk construction at a meaningful scale without leveraging other funding sources.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES / STATUS:

Objectives: To Build Sidewalks

Status: Many of the sidewalks from priority list (Bike and Ped. Master Plan) are currently being revamped. Until that work is complete it is unlikely much of this funding will be used this year. Once the priorities have been revised, staff will seek to leverage future grant opportunities to enhance a more robust sidewalk program.
