Special Revenue Funds

Highlights for FY 2024:

• American Rescue Plan Act funding to be used for capital projects as well as to bolster public safety staffing levels and clear judicial case backlogs
• Rural Fire District Fund to increase millage rate from 1.97 to 3.0 mills
• Urban Fire District to increase millage rate from 2.25 to 3.0 mills.
• Includes 5 new full-time and 2 new part-time positions:
  • 2 Communications Officers and 2 Shift Supervisors in E911 Fund
  • 1 Fire Inspector in Rural Fire Fund
  • 2 part-time Administrative Assistants in Airport Fund
