Section II - Miscellaneous: 6981 Arts Council/Cultural Council

The Brewster Cultural Council accepts on-line grant applications for cultural events relevant to the town of Brewster and/or Cape Cod.

In addition, the Council sponsors 4 special programs each year: a Fall Literary Evening, a Winter Art Show, a Spring Music Program and a Creative Writing Workshop. Brewster residents are eligible to participate in these programs.

Meetings for the Council take place on Monday afternoons. Agendas for all meetings are posted at the Brewster Town Hall and on the Town website. Meetings are open to all Brewster residents.

• The budget represents level funding for the Cultural Council at $1,000.
• The Cultural Council also receives funding on an annual basis through the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
