Gender Pay Equity Initiative
The Gender Pay Equity Initiative was developed as a collaborative partnership between Bernalillo County, the City of Albuquerque, and the Water Authority. This initiative requires companies to report gender pay disparities in their organization and rewards organizations that pay men and women equitably with a 5% preference in competitive solicitations (RFPs and RFBs).
