Technology Summary

2025 - 2029 Capital Equipment Summary

Technology projects are part of the Capital Equipment Plan and are managed within three areas:

 

    • Technology Infrastructure Projects 
      • Planned technology infrastructure projects across the County in the following categories:  Information/Cyber Security, Enterprise Productivity Tools, Network Connectivity Infrastructure and Server/Storage Infrastructure
      • Funded through an annual $1.2 Million allocation of County Program Aid

 

    • Customer Technology Projects 
      • Created to manage technology projects aligned with business software systems based and managed by departments. 
      • Many of the projects are county-wide initiatives that affect many or all departments
      • Funded through either overall budget savings or Asset Preservation.

 

    • Countywide Security Technology Projects
      • Planned projects are those providing security - protecting data and people
      • Funded through Asset Preservation
