Improvements to the Lino Lakes Juvenile Center include the following:

• RJC Pneumatics to DDC
  • The Juvenile Center has 3 AHU's in the lower level. The heating control valves will be replaced with new electronic valves. The control damper actuators will be replaced with new electric actuators. The control valves on the heat exchange will also be replaced with new electric valves. The VAV boxes will be converted to DDC control and new valves. The FTR valves will be replaced and a new Integra will be furnished and installed to accommodate the additional points:
    • 70 Fire Smoke Damper Actuators
    • 34 Discharge Air Temperature Sensors
    • 34 Electric 1/2" Tri-State Valves
    • 34 Space Temperature Sensors
    • 34 VAV Controllers
    • 13 Damper Actuators
    • 5 Electric Valves (AHUs & Heat Exchanger)
    • 7 FTR Electric Valves
    • 2 SBV-GPC2 Controllers
    • INTEGRA JACE

• NSP Pneumatics to DDC
  • There are 3 rooftop units serving this facility with legacy controllers that will be upgraded. Additionally, there are 2 legacy controllers for the heating convertor and the dishwasher exhaust that would be upgraded as well. A total of 22 of the VAV boxes that have pneumatic reheat control valves will be replaced with new electric valves:
    • 22 Electric 1/2" Tri-State Valves
    • 3 SBC-GCP1 Controllers
    • 2 SBC-GPC2 Controllers

• ACS RTU Replacement
  • Replace two existing roof top units with two new, more energy efficient, models. Includes, but are not limited to, the modifications of ancillary systems necessary to bring the new RTU's online.

• ACS Pneumatics to DDC
  • The pneumatic components on AHU's #4, #5, and #6 will be upgraded to electric. The VAV boxes will be converted to full DDC controls. The fire-smoke damper actuators willl be replaced with new electric, and the heat exchanger control valves will be replaced with new electric ones:
    • 32 Discharge Air Temperature Sensors
    • 32 Electric Tri-State Valves
    • 32 Space Temperature Sensors
    • 32 VAV Controllers
    • 8 Damper Actuators
    • 7 Fire Smoke Damper Actuators
    • 5 Electric Valves
