PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Work with an engineering firm to determine how to best optimize the WWTP's existing process and equipment. Upgrade the plant to meet new effluent nutrient limits.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES / STATUS:

The WWTP is subject to the new NPDES Puget Sound Nutrient General Permit (PSNGP). Potential future upgrades the process to meet the new permitted levels may range from 10-20 million.
