PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Install a 100kW solar array on the Maintenance/Operations Facility, the roof was replaced in 2016 with a standing seam metal roof specifically to install a solar array system.

REcommendation:

A 100kW solar system will roughly produce enough electricity to cover 2/3 of the yearly bill at the Maintenance/Operations Facility. The rough pay back based on a cost of $200,000 is 12 -13 years, average life span of a solar array system is 25 to 30 years.
