PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We added this element to our impact fees and comprehensive plan because of the increasing use of non-motorized travel to reach our parks in trails. Our goal is to improve the infrastructure to accommodate the needs of our users to safely access and use our parks and trails.

Recommendation:

Improve non-motorized transportation opportunities in the city and connect with existing trail heads and parks for local businesses, visitors and residents.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES / STATUS:

The elements we would add include improvement to sidewalks at the trail heads, amenities, signage and pedestrian crossings.
