SUMMARY
PROJECT TITLE: South Commercial Avenue Corridor Plan -- Phase I Commercial Avenue from 11th to 13th

JUSTIFICATION: This project will provide a contextually sensitive connection from the downtown central business district to the rest of the South Commercial Avenue Corridor as well as 12th Street.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Improve safety; pedestrian facilities and bicycle facilities at the 12th and Commercial Avenue intersections (SR 20 Spur).
Recommendation:
Implements Comp. Plan Policy LU-7.2 relating to enhancing and promoting non-motorized access on south Commercial Ave, and Transportation element policies prioritizing pedestrian and bicycle travel modes in planning and budgeting decisions.
